Head of Prague is a time trial race for eights in Prague with one U-turn. The start of the race is at Barrandov bridge. The U-turn is between Palacky and Jirasek bridges and the finish line is at the rowing club VK Blesk. The total length of the race is 6 km.

Length - 6 km of which is roughly 4 km downstream 2 km upstream
Categories - Juniors/JuniorB JW8+;JM8+; Seniors M8+;W8+; Masters MM8+;WM8+; MIXED 8+mix, 8x+
After party - from 16:00 at the rowing club VK Blesk

VK BLESK rowing club are organizing the event. The club was founded in 1879 and is one of the oldest Czech rowing clubs.

Details of the race head of prague

This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 13:00. The fee for participating is 50 EUR per boat , T-shirt 5,- EUR
The announcing of the results is scheduled for 16:00 and will be followed by an after party.
